BIO

Dr Aman Dhir joined the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton in September 2016 as Senior Lecturer Chemical Engineering. He has a 1st class MEng degree in Chemical Engineering (2004) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering (2008) from University of Birmingham. Before moving to Wolverhampton, Aman spent several years teaching Chemical Engineering within the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham and is a fellow of the higher education society.

Aman has since evolved Chemical Engineering at Wolverhampton to be a student focused degree course, inline with the universities ethos of students first, into one of the best courses as rated by the National Students Survey, achieving consistently 95% + for students satisfaction.

In June 2022, Aman was appointed Head of Engineering, to lead the department into a new era of Engineering at Wolverhampton and firmly cementing the routes of engineering back into the black country and Wolverhampton.
