My background is in Further Education, where I taught the gamut of courses and levels offered, from GCSE re-sits, through BTEC, A-Level and Access to HE courses, mainly as an English or Media lecturer.

In HE I teach on the post-compulsory teacher education PGCE mainly. specialising in Research Methods on the Politics, Policy and Practice module as well as on in-service teacher training Cert Ed courses at partner colleges and professional settings, such as with RAF staff.

I teach Research Methods on the MA in Professional Practice and Lifelong Learning and Introduction to Research Methods on the EdD professional doctorate course.

We are also developing CPD packages to current FE staff, which I have devised around teaching and assessment using digital technologies.
