TEACHING INTERESTS

Dr. Ololade Shonubi is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing with 20 years of combined industry and academic experience. Her teaching covers core and specialist areas of marketing,  digital marketing,  marketing analytics , search engine optmisation ,website development and analytics delivered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.She is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), reflecting her sustained commitment to professional excellence and best practice in the field.

 

Drawing on her background as a marketing practitioner, Dr. Shonubi blends academic rigour with real-world application, using case studies, live industry projects, and interactive learning to help students connect marketing theory to contemporary business practice. She is committed to developing graduates who are analytical, creative, and prepared for the demands of a rapidly evolving marketplace.

 

As Course Leader of the MSc Digital Marketing, she shapes the strategic direction and quality of the programme, ensuring the curriculum remains current, industry-relevant, and responsive to emerging digital trends.Beyond the classroom, Dr. Shonubi supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and dissertations, mentors students on career development, and contributes to curriculum design and programme development within the department. Her teaching is informed by ongoing research in emerging digital technologies, digital marketing, technology marketing, innovation marketing, and digital sovereignty.
