DrPanos Georgakis

My current research interests involve the use of machine learning and optimisation techniques in transport related applications. I have been working on the development of data analytics algorithms for traffic forecasting and for mining of data retrieved from social media with the aim of identifying situations of interest on transport network. Furthermore, I am currently developing a dynamic journey planner for generating optimised trips as part of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) applications.
