BIO

Selina is a part-time doctoral researcher at the University of Wolverhampton.

She also works as a Registered British Sign Language Interpreter on a freelance basis.  She graduated with a BSL/English Interprering Plus Foundation BA Hons from the University of Wolverhampton in 2012. She then returned to the University of Wolverhampton in 2018 and was among the first cohort on the Interpreting MA graduating in 2021. 
Her MA dissertation was used a pilot for her PhD research which is exploring the lived experiences of British Sign Language Interpreters who identify as a person of colour.
