Dr Saidunnabi Piyal is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Wolverhampton. He holds a PhD in Property Law from the University of Aberdeen and has developed extensive academic expertise across teaching, research, doctoral supervision, curriculum design, and programme leadership. He is highly IT‑literate, proficient in blended and technology‑enhanced learning, and experienced in supporting Transnational Education (TNE) initiatives.

Dr Piyal teaches primarily in Real Property Law/Land Law, Equity and Trusts, and Commercial Law. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

His research interests centre on Real Property Law, Equity and Trusts, and Comparative Private Law, with a particular focus on the treatment of property within mixed legal systems. His scholarship critically examines the interaction between established doctrinal principles and contemporary developments in property and commercial regulation.
