TEACHING INTERESTS

I currently teach plant biology and agriculture related lecture content on our biological sciences degree programme, from level 4 to level 6. I also teach on a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules on other awards.

Wherever possible, I use my current and previous research experience to inform and illustrate my teaching at all levels, so that the students can appreciate the practical applications of the subject material they are being taught.

To date, I have supervised ten PhD students and three post-doctoral research projects to completion and am currently supervising two PhD students.
