DrZeta Williams-Brown

Zeta has over a decade’s experience supervising postgraduate research students to completion.  She has eight completions and she currently supervising 8 doctoral students.  Her sustained record of successful teaching and student support includes working on the Professional Doctorate (EdD) in Education since completion of her doctorate. She was module leader for ‘Implementing Educational Enquiry’ (2016-2024) and was module leader for ‘Representation of Childhood and Youth’ Masters module in 2023.

She is a specialist in Q-methodology and supports other researchers using this methodology, including leading a Q-methodology Special Interest Group since 2022 with members from four UK universities. She is Chief External Examiner (2024 onwards) and MA in Education examiner (2022-2025) for Newman University. She has also carried out external examiner roles at the University of Hertfordshire, Edgehill University and has completed validation work at London Metropolitan University and Keele University.  For several years she has been a KUDOS reviewer for the univeristies Higher Education Academy award and is a member of the university-wide evaluation group.
