BIO

Dr Roz Collings is an Associate Professor of Higher Education and Ethics whose work focuses on advancing ethical practice, inclusive learning, and student success across higher education. Her teaching, research, and leadership explore the complex relationship between educational policy, institutional culture, and the lived experiences of students and staff.

With extensive experience in higher education, Roz is committed to fostering learning environments that are equitable, values-driven, and responsive to the challenges facing contemporary universities. Her interests span educational & research ethics, academic practice, curriculum development, student engagement, and the role of higher education in promoting social justice.

Roz works collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines and institutions to support innovation in teaching and learning, enhance educational quality, and strengthen evidence-informed approaches to policy and practice. She is particularly interested in how ethical leadership can shape more inclusive and sustainable futures for higher education.

Through her scholarship and professional practice, Roz seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that ethical considerations remain central to decision-making, institutional development, and student experience.
