RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research is primarily focused on mental health, but specifically, the effects of adverse life experiences in childhood and adulthood including the varied factors which may influence poor psychiatric outcomes. In addition, I have a strong interest in suicide (thoughts and behaviors), and how or why individuals may transition along the continuum of suicide towards enactment. I have also recently developed a strong interest in male mental health and plan to integrate this strand of research directly into my suicide research.
I am a quantitative methodologist and have a special interest in Mplus and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) (Path Analysis, Latent Class Analysis, Latent Profile Analysis, Mediation, Logistic Mediation analysis).
