DrGina Manning

I am currently Head of the Department of Biology, Chemistry and Forensic Science at the University of Wolverhampton and have been in this post since September 2017. Prior to that I worked at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) for 12 years as Senior Lecturer in Microbiology, Principal Lecturer and finally Head of Department for Biosciences.
Prior to my appointment at NTU, and just after being awarded PhD from the University of Leicester, I was a senior research scientist at the Veterinary Laboratories Agency (VLA) where I spent 9 years managing a team of scientists carrying out research into the pathogenesis of Campylobacter jejuni.
