RESEARCH INTERESTS

Mary-Rose’s research interests include: the refugee third sector; newly arrived families living with No Recourse to Public Funds; access to employment for health practitioners from refugee backgrounds; visual and sensory literacies; multilingual family literacies; and the practices of literacies in transient/mobile living circumstances. Mary-Rose’s work uses participatory ethnography and creative methodological approaches.
