TEACHING INTERESTS
Mary-Rose has taught across a wide variety of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has experience of supervising at BA, MA and PhD levels. At Birmingham City University she co-led the MA Education Critical Pedagogies module for three years.
Prior to working in universities, Mary-Rose taught in the adult education sector for 12 years, teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Family Literacy. She has also taught ESOL and family literacy classes in the third sector for individuals from refugee and newly arrived backgrounds.
