Consultant Obstetrician (Maternal & Fetal Medicine)

Clinical Duties
I am a full time clinical consultant obstetrician. My special interest areas of practice are:
1) maternal and fetal medicine, looking after women with medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, renal disease and endocrine problems.
2) intrapartum care.
3) Level 3 fetal medicine ultrasound scans including invasive diagnostic procedures and I actively practice direct intrapartum care on the labour ward.

• Regional preceptor for Advanced Training Skills Module in Fetal Medicine. 2008-11 (Regional

• Lead Clinical Director for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. 2008 – 2010 (National)
