TEACHING INTERESTS

Dr. Potocnik is interested in teaching traditional subjects, as well as cross-disciplinary approach to legal disciplines. In particular, Dr. Potocnik teaches or is interested in the following:

1. Intellectual Property Law (Copyright, Trade Marks, Patents, Geographical Indications) - from national, comparative, international and transnational perspectives;
2. Arbitration (Commercial Arbitration and Investment Treaty Arbitration);
3. Intellectual Property Arbitration (as a newly emerging field of law);
4. Foreign Direct Investment and Substantive International Investment Law;
5. Commercial Law (domestic UK sales and the international 1980 CISG Convention);
6. EU Law (fundamental principles, 4 freedoms and fundamental rights).

 

For PhDs, Dr Potocnik supervises projects, which examine issues of intellectual property, from IP social justice perspective.
