TEACHING INTERESTS

I currently teach Animal Behaviour (L4), Animal Behaviour & Captivity (L5) and Behavioural Ecology (L5) at undergraduate level. I am strongly committed to bringing my research experience into my teaching practice, involving students in my research projects and also nurturing enthusiasm in science beyond my own students.

I was nominated through the student surveys in the 2019 Vice-Chancellor Awards for Staff Excellence - Enriching the Learning Experience category of the Post Graduate Taught Experience Survey, the 2021 Students’ Union Annual Awards - Lecturer of the Year (Faculty of Science and Engineering) category, and the 2023 Faculty of Science & Engineering Staff Awards - Most Innovative Teacher of the Year (Student Nominated) category.
